Rene Haines

M.S., CCC-SLP

Rene holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Missouri. Since 2013, she has specialized in early intervention, working closely with infants, toddlers, and their families to support development during the most critical years of life.

Her experience includes working with children who are deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH), use AAC, are autistic, have feeding and swallowing challenges, genetic conditions, complex medical needs, or children who just need a little boost. Rene believes that young children learn best through play and everyday routines, and that parents and caregivers are a child’s most powerful teachers.

Rene is passionate about being a voice for the voiceless, both in her professional role as a speech-language pathologist and in her personal life as a former foster parent. She is especially dedicated to connecting with children and helping them find their voices through trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming practices with a strong focus on empowering families and building trusting relationships. Rene is committed to treating the whole child—supporting communication, connection, and development within the context of each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and environment.

Rene relocated from the Kansas City area (go Chiefs and Current!) to Colorado in June of 2025. In her free time, Rene enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her son.
