Monica Callahan
OTD, OTR/L
Hello! My name is Monica Callahan. I am a pediatric occupational therapist and yoga teacher. I earned my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Colorado State University in May 2025. I then completed a LEND Fellowship through the University of Colorado - Anschutz Medical Campus. As a fellow, I served on the mulitdisciplinary Early Intervention team, ENRICH, and an interdisciplinary evaluation team for neurodevelopmental differences including autism, sensory processing, and motor coordination at Children's Hospital Colorado. I am excited to be joining the Talking Together Team and serving more families in Larimer County!
Prior to OT school, I taught yoga at multiple studios in Chicago. I taught a range of classes including yoga basics, vinyasa flow, and restorative. I have over 600 hours of Yoga Teacher Training for both adults and children. I am passionate about integrating both Eastern and Western healing modalities into my professional practice. As part of my OTD, I collaborated with preschool teachers to create a sustainable yoga program to target self-regulation of the children and teachers alike.
Some of my favorite occupations including hiking, camping, swimming, reading, cooking, traveling, snuggling with my kitties, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to working with your family!
