Megan Petterson

OTD, OTR/L

Megan Petterson, OTD, OTR/L, is a pediatric occupational therapist that has always loved working with kids, even before becoming an OT. After graduating with her doctorate in occupational therapy from Creighton University, she completed the LEND fellowship through JFK Partners, and started her career in early intervention and developmental disabilities. Through being an early intervention provider, she has continued to thrive with parents and their children, supporting the family system during the formative, early years. Her expertise includes supporting children through occupational delays including motor skills, sleep support, feeding challenges, social emotional regulation, and play skills. She also has experience working with autistic children and supporting families through therapy, evaluation and beyond.

Megan is energized by feeding therapy, collaborating with parents/caregivers/colleagues, supporting children and families in their most meaningful goals, and leaning into the relationship between functional and creative in her approach.

Originally from Minnesota, but loving Colorado for the last 8 years, Megan lives in Denver with her husband, their daughter, and their black lab. She loves to bake, read, spend time walking outside, swim, and find new coffee shops and restaurants.
