Katie McClleland

Katie is a graduate of Indiana University, where she received Bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Communications and Culture. She worked in the non-profit field with at-risk youth for five years before returning to graduate school. She received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Katie has been working in the early intervention setting since 2017. She enjoys working with children and families with a variety of communication and feeding needs. Katie specializes in working with children who need additional support with feeding and/or oral-motor skills. She has been trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding. She has taken a variety of continuing education courses through Talk Tools as well as various courses to develop her knowledge and skills in supporting children with Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs). During her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
