Kara is a third-year Physical Therapy student at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and will graduate with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in December 2023. She is currently completing a clinical internship with Talking Together in order to learn about Early Intervention and how to best provide family-centered care. Her favorite thing about Early Intervention is supporting families with strategies in their own homes to support their child's growth and progress. In her free time, Kara enjoys traveling to National Parks, going to concerts, cooking and baking with new recipes, and spending time with her German Shepherd.
